When are you open?

Saturdays and Sundays term time 10am-6pm. For school holiday opening times and other special opening times such as Bank Holiday's visit our Facebook Page or Google Business Page

Do I need to book in advance?

It is advisable to book parties and general admission in advance, but not essential. For general entry you can arrive in the opening times and we will seek to accommodate you.


How do I pay?

Cash is preferred, Card is accepted. You can also book in advance on this website.


Is my booking refundable or transferrable?

All Birthday Party bookings in either Duff Land or The Junk Yard will require a non-refundable deposit of £50. The booking will only be valid if the £50 has been paid. If for some reason you have been unable to pay the deposit, will need to pay through the link in your email. The link will be in the PDF attachment, it will say 'UNPAID' and you will see a button to 'PAY NOW'. Once the deposit is paid you will receive an email with an attachment that will say 'PAID'. If you need to change the date of your party, this must be requested no more than 20 days before the date of your party. We will seek to accommodate you the best we can, however, we cannot guarantee that the date, time or party room will be available. What time should I arrive?

You should arrive 5-10 minutes before your booking time. Please do not arrive any earlier as you will have to wait in the car park.


Can I bring my own food and drink?

For health and safety reasons no food and drink can be brought into the centre (with the exception of birthday cake for parties booked, baby milk and baby food). We have a fully operational cafe to meet your requirements. Please note that you will not be allowed to bring a Birthday Cake into the Cafe, cakes can only be brought into party rooms that have been booked.

Can anyone use the cafe facilities?

No, only those who accompany a paying customer have access to our cafe facilities.


Do you have WI-FI?

Yes we have free customer WIFI. Ask at reception for details.


Is there car parking?

Yes, we have very good parking facilities which make it easy for both the parent and child to gain access to our centres.


How long does your birthday party last?

This depends on the package you have booked. The Bronze package lasts 90 minutes, the Silver and Gold Packages last 2 hours. If you book the Pamper Palace the time for the party will be longer.


Can I self-cater for my child's birthday party?

Unfortunately no, due to health and safety regulations. However, we do offer a great value birthday package.


How many adults can attend?

6 adults maximum as we have limited space. If there are more than 6 adults, there will be additional charges of £3 per adult, this is non-negotiable.


I have booked a party, what should expect in the centre? And when?

You will be checked in by a member of staff. They will check in your guests and take their food orders. Each party guests name will be recorded, as well as the number of adults attending. The member of staff will confirm the details of your booking. If you have booked the Gold or Silver package, you will be given your allocated Duff Dollars - 1 per child. You will be shown to your chosen Party Room. Your will be given a basket to store the shoes of your party guests (children). Your guests will play initially in the play area. When your food is ready you will be called (on our Tannoy system) to your party room. If you have booked the Gold or Silver package, your slushee's will be delivered to your party room. Your time in the party room will be for eating the food and for your cake (if you have brought one, please note we do not supply a cake). If you need a lighter for the candles in your cake please ask a member of staff. Please be careful with the lighter and return. We will provide a plastic knife to cut the cake, there are also napkins in the room for the cake. Please note that whilst our staff previously handled the cake presentation and cutting, we no longer provide this service. If you have booked any Extra's they will be provided in the Party Room. When your time is up, we ask that you leave Duff Land promptly to accommodate other Birthday Parties.


Do you provide Party Hats, Party Bags, and Paper Plates for the Party?

No, we don't. You are welcome to bring these with you.


Can I decorate the party room?

The party rooms are decorated with bunting, they are very colourful and fun. The Princess and Pirate party rooms are fully themed. If you are bringing decorations, we ask that they are free standing. We cannot allow banners/ decorations to be attached to the walls. This has caused significant damage to the walls previously. There will be an additional charge if the room is damaged.


Can I bring a pinata/ party poppers/ confetti canons?

No, these are not allowed. For Health and Safety purposes, we cannot allow these items to be used in the centre.


Are there any additional activities as well as the Soft Play?

Face Painting, balloon models, glitter tattoos, toys, and Duff Dodgems will usually be available to purchase within the centre. These activities cost 1 Duff Dollar each. They can be purchased at reception. If you have booked the Gold or Silver package, Duff Dollars will be included in your package.


What are the centre rules?

Supervision by adults is mandatory in the centre. Our staff do not provide supervision.


Verbal or physical abuse towards our staff will not be tolerated.

No food or drinks are allowed in the play frame or bouncy castle.
